Emberfall Legends

Emberfall Legends puts a small party through a hand-drawn world of ruined kingdoms and stubborn heroes. Combat is turn-based and grid-driven, so positioning matters as much as raw stats. Getting a flank right feels great.

The writing carries it further than we expected. Characters banter between fights, and choices in dialogue actually nudge later events. We got genuinely attached to one grumpy healer by the halfway point.

Progression is generous without being mindless. You'll tinker with builds, swap gear, and occasionally rebuild a character from scratch after a tough boss teaches you something. It's a comfortable, meaty RPG for a phone.
